A woman identified as Linet Munala has caused the death of her three children following a disagreement with her husband, their father.
The children were found lifeless in their house after a neighbour and caretaker were alerted to check on them.
Cityscenes gathered that trouble started after the mother of three was informed that her husband was cheating.
Following the information , she had a very chaotic domestic dispute with her husband, Alex Mogeni, a despatch driver with Galaxy Express Parcels.
On the day of the incident, the husband was reportedly away from home.
According to preliminary police reports, the suspect allegedly poisoned porridge and fed it to her one-year-old twins and four-year-old child.
The children’s bodies were later discovered by a neighbour after Munala allegedly called and asked her to check on them.
The neighbour alerted the authorities upon finding the children unresponsive.
Munala is said to have fled the scene and was later arrested in Syokimau before being transferred to Mlolongo Police Station for questioning.
The bodies of the children were taken to City Mortuary, where postmortem examinations are expected to be conducted as investigations continue.
Police say the suspect will be arraigned in court once investigations are completed
