The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to hold an Extended Stakeholders Strategic Meeting aimed at consolidating party unity and strengthening its political direction in the state.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the party disclosed that the meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 11, at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, by 2:00 p.m.
The high-level gathering is expected to bring together critical stakeholders of the party across Ogun State. Those invited include former governors and deputy governors, past speakers of the Ogun State House of Assembly, serving and former members of the Federal Executive Council from the state, as well as current and former members of the National and State Assemblies.
Also expected at the meeting are members of the State Executive Council and other key party leaders.
According to the party, the strategic session will be chaired by the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, MFR, and is designed to foster cohesion within the party while mapping out future political strategies ahead of key engagements.
The State Chairman of the APC, Chief Yemi Sanusi, urged all invited stakeholders to be punctual and to attend in party attire, stressing that participation is strictly by invitation.
