Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has showered heartfelt praises on former Ogun State Governor and veteran journalist, Aremo Chief Olusegun Osoba, as he marks his 87th birthday, describing him as one of Nigeria’s greatest patriots whose lifelong commitment to democracy, truth, and public service has left an indelible mark on the nation.

The governor noted that beyond serving twice as governor, Osoba distinguished himself as one of Africa’s finest journalists and remains one of Nigeria’s most respected democratic icons, whose contributions continue to inspire generations of leaders.

He said celebrating Osoba at 87 is not simply about marking another birthday but recognising a lifetime of exceptional service and sacrifice to Ogun State and Nigeria.
